The Twin City Opera House
Just a 20 minute drive north along the Muskingum River to McConnelsville - the
Twin City Opera House sits on the village square. It was built in 1890, and has operated continuously since its
grand opening in 1892. The theater screens recent films each weekend and hosts

The Wilds

Coal Miners' Memorial Park and AEP ReCreation Land
About 30 minutes away, the Miners' Memorial Park
honors the achievements of the men and women who mined coal in this region for
many decades. A keystone installation at the park is the giant 220-cubic-yard
240-ton bucket from "Big Muskie," the largest dragline ever built.
Ohio Valley Opry

the place for you! Regular shows are held the third Saturday of each month at
